Sk8LikeYou Podcast Episode 109: Devon Messer

I sat down with Devon Messer of the Ohio Rollers for Episode 109 of the SK8LIKEYOU Podcast, and this one is all about community, consistency, and what it really takes to build something that lasts in the skate scene. Devon represents a crew that’s putting in real work. The Ohio Rollers aren’t just showing up… they’re creating a lane, building momentum, and bringing people together through skating. We got into how it all started, what drives the movement, and the responsibility that comes with representing something bigger than yourself. This conversation goes deeper than just skating. We talk about leadership, showing up for your people, and the difference between those who talk about it and those who actually do it. Devon breaks down the mindset behind staying consistent, elevating the scene around you, and making sure the culture keeps moving forward. If you care about the future of roller skating and the people pushing it, this is one you need to tap into.
