Sk8LikeYou Podcast Episode 101: Zane Dixon & Midwest Jam Fest 26

This week on SK8LIKEYOU Podcast, I sit down with Zane Dixon to talk about the 2nd Annual Midwest Jam Fest going down May 1, 2, and 3, 2026. Last year, Zane organized the very first Jam Fest and it delivered. The energy was real. The culture showed up. It made noise. Now he is doing it again, only this time it is bigger, sharper, and even more intentional. But this conversation goes deeper than just an event. Zane comes from a true skating legacy. His family owns Castle Skateland in Loveland, Ohio, one of the most loved rinks in the country. He grew up inside this culture and inside the responsibility of preserving something that means everything to people. That gives him a perspective most promoters simply do not have. In this episode, I break down with Zane: The vision behind Midwest Jam Fest What makes year two different What it means to carry on a rink legacy The balance of being both a promoter and part of a rink family Exactly what you need to know before May 1, 2, and 3 If you are pulling up to Jam Fest, thinking about it, or just want to understand how events like this actually get built from the inside out, this episode is for you.
