Sk8LikeYou Podcast Episode 97: David Smith & HeartBreak Skate Jam

This week on the SK8LIKEYOU Podcast , I’m joined by David Smith , better known as @smittyonskates , to talk all things HeartBreak Skate Jam . We dig into how HeartBreak first came to life, the uphill battle of keeping the event alive before skating’s recent resurgence, and what it’s taken to build something that the community truly believes in. Smitty breaks down what skaters can expect this year when HeartBreak takes over Spinnerz in Carrollton, Georgia on February 20th and 21st, plus where he sees the event heading in the future. Smitty’s passion for skating runs deep. He’s driven not just to preserve the culture, but to push it forward and create space for it to evolve the right way. If you love the behind the scenes of skate events, care about the history, or just enjoy hearing from someone who truly lives this life, this one is for you. Skate nerds are absolutely gonna love this one.
