The holidays are a season of giving, but sometimes we find ourselves buying gifts simply because we feel like we’re supposed to. What if, instead of asking, “What can I buy for the person who already has everything?” we asked, “What could I give because of them?” In this episode of Fuller Expectations , we’re rethinking holiday giving and exploring ways to make it more meaningful. From donating to a cause close to someone’s heart, to supporting a local family in need, creating a family giving tradition, honoring someone we’ve lost, or giving experiences and time instead of more “stuff,” there are so many ways to make our holiday dollars matter. This isn’t about giving up the joy of presents... it’s about letting go of obligation and choosing intention instead. Because sometimes the most meaningful gift under the tree isn’t something that can be wrapped at all. And this year, I’m challenging you to try the One Gift Challenge : choose just one person on your list who already has enough and give something meaningful in their honor instead. One small change could make someone else’s holiday - and make yours - a little more meaningful, too!
