Episode description as stored
First, the plaintiff is a landscaper who did work for the defendant. He claims the defendant hasn’t paid him, so he’s suing for what he’s owed. The defendant thinks the plaintiff did a terrible job, so he doesn’t think he should pay. He’s countersuing for repair work needed. Then, the plaintiff and defendant used to be friends for 20 years. She let the defendant register a car in her name, but he racked up an immense amount of parking tickets. She’s suing for the cost of the tickets. The defendant argues he paid the tickets, and he thinks the plaintiff is suing him for what she actually owes in tickets. Plus, the plaintiff brings his tenant to court. He says the defendant sat on his hot tub cover and ruined it, so he’s suing for the cost of repairs. The defendant denies breaking the cover.
