We’ll head to South Korea and into the decaying halls of one of the nation’s most infamous allegedly haunted locations, where four university students will discover that some urban legends may have a little more truth behind them than they’d like. What begins with the strange sound of something bouncing on an empty floor above them will end with the students trapped between two horrors. Then, we’ll travel to Japan, where in 1974 a young farmer claimed that a knock on his door at three o’clock in the morning led to an absolutely terrifying supernatural encounter involving several extraterrestrials and their spacecraft. Next up, we are back in the US and in Gettysburg where a group of strangers share a very real paranormal experience all caught on tape! Lastly, a young child hears a voice throughout their life. After loosing someone they love, the voice comes back. Who was it? And how did this happen?

ASSISTANCE: SUBMIT YOUR NAME VIA EMAIL BETWEEN OCTOBER 5TH AND OCTOBER 15TH. RECIPIENTS WILL BE NOTIFIED OF SUPPORT ON OCTOBER 24TH.
WHERE: Email givingtree2026@badmagicproductions.com
WHO: 35 FAMILIES WILL RECEIVE SUPPORT THIS YEAR
For eight years now, we have been hosting the Bad Magic Giving Tree. This is a project so near and dear to my heart. I have been on both sides of a holiday giving tree. I personally appreciate what it meant to my family and I the year our gifts came from a community resource. Now as someone facilitating the giving, I am reminded of what an honor and privilege it is to give back.
This years process will mimic last years. Here is how it will all work: Everyone who would like their children to be considered needs to email ONLY YOUR FIRST AND LAST NAME to givingtree2026@badmagicproductions.com . NOTHING MORE. ONE submission per family, PLEASE. Duplicates will be deleted.
We will enter all of the names into a random generator, aka put all the names in a hat, and allow the names to be chosen at random. Everyone will receive an email, regardless of their outcome. Submit your name between October 5th and October 15th. No names will be accepted after October 15th. By October 24th, everyone will be notified. Those whose names were picked from the hat will be given next steps.
As in years past, we will be applying the December monthly donation to this amazing giving tree and will be giving this money right back to our community. We continue to ask and encourage our community to donate Amazon gift cards to the cause. For ease, all of the shopping happens this way. For every extra dollar donated to the cause, Dan and I will match it, up to $13K. If you have $5 or $10 bucks or more that you’d be willing to donate, I assure you, it adds up! Alone we can do so little but together we are deeply powerful. Last year, the fans sent an additional $14K! If you are able to help, please go to amazon.com to purchase a digital gift card. When prompted for a recipient email, please enter givingtree2026@badmagicproductions.com
